Lenovo Phab 2 Pro, the world’s first Tango technology enabled smartphone has now made its arrival in India. The handset made its debut in June 2016, and the company has now unveiled the smartphone for Indian market too. It will be exclusively available in Champagne Gold colour variant via Flipkart with a price tag of Rs 29,990.
The biggest highlight of the Android smartphone is its support for Google’s Tango technology, which is basically an array of sensors and software, which will detect and map your surrounding to provide you a ravishing augmented reality experience. The AR gaming facility will allow you to play virtual games, raise a digital pet, fight aliens invading their house, etc.
The Google Tango technology is believed to change the way of people’s thinking regarding the process of mapping indoor spaces to create a fabulous experience of interior decoration, augmented reality tours, home improvement etc.
The Tango experience will be provided with the help of 3 core technologies, which includes depth perception, motion tracking, and area learning. The motion tracking helps the handset to see its location in 3D. Second in the list is area learning, which helps the smartphone to convey its location to the smartphone. The last one is the depth perception, which allows the Phab 2 Pro to analyze the surroundings by detecting obstacles and surfaces.
Apart from this, when it comes to specifications, the Dual-SIM handset features a 6.4-inch QHD 1440p display and is powered by a Snapdragon 652 processor coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via microSD card. In terms of optics, the GSM handset packs a 16-megapixel rear camera along with an 8-megapixel front shooter for selfie lovers. Lastly, it is powered by a 4,050mAh battery and will be available only in Champagne Gold colour variant.
