Lenovo S60 Paired with Mid-Level Hardware Launched in Russia

Soon after diversifying the array of A-series and K-series of smartphone by commencing A5000 and K80 into lineups respectively, now Lenovo has made its S-family of handsets more affluent by launching a novel scion, called S60. Well, it seems Russia is the most favored market of corporation nowadays because this creation of tech giant has firstly been announced for Russian space just like newly-launched: A5000.

Notably, device has been cataloged on the Russian website of company and a report of GSMArena has suggested that it has been priced at RUB 15,000 for Russia that is roughly Rs. 18,300. Being a legitimate successor of Apple iPhone 6-lookalike: S90 Sisley, gadget has derived designing concept from its predecessor and features identical rounded corners and curved sides.

Coming to specifications, Lenovo S60 is packed with a Qualcomm 64-bit quad-core Snapdragon MSM8916 410 SoC clocked at 1.2 GHz and runs on Android 4.4 Kitkat with Vibe 2.0 UI. The connectivity options include, 4G LTE, GPS/A-GPS, GLONASS, Bluetooth v4.0 and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n. Fueled by a 2150mAh Li-Polymer battery, phone delivers talk time of 30 hours, 16.5 hours and upto 17 hours on 2G, 3G and 4G networks respectively.

Glancing at display, it bears a 5.0-inch display IPS display, which produces a pixel resolution of 1280 x 720p. On imaging front, new member of S-lineup is fitted with a 13-megapixel autofocus camera with LED flash alongside a 5-megapixel front shooter. Memory-wise, mobile houses 2GB RAM along with 8GB ROM that can be extended upto 32GB via a microSD card.

In addition, handset accommodates accelerometer, proximity sensor, e-compass and light sensors in its 7.7mm thin profile. Moreover, this dual SIM supported handheld weighs 128 grams and it will be available in Pearl White, Graphite Gray and Yellow Laser color models.

However, specifications and pricing details of smartphone have been revealed, but an exact date of availability is still unknown as well as we are yet to hear some words regarding its arrival in other regions.
