Lephone W7 launched In India At Rs. 4,599: Has 4G VoLTE And 22 Indian Languages Support

The Chinese mobile maker Lephone has launched it's latest budget smartphone W7 in India, with a price tag of Rs. 4,599. The major highlight of the handset is it's 4G VoLTE connectivity and the support for 22 regional languages. At the launch occasion Vinod Pandit, Business Head, Lephone Technology Pvt Ltd, said, "Lephone is leveraging a platform with an affordable yet power packed device, as it offers the flexibility to address users' increasingly varied demands. With the launch of Lephone W7, we intend getting premium devices into the hands of consumers at affordable rates while ensuring consumers benefit from all the latest specifications."

The latest launched Lephone W7 mobile is a dual-SIM supporting handset that operates on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The smartphone comes with a 5-inch FWVGA (480x854 pixels) 2.5D curved display and supports Dual Account along with 360 security. The handset has been powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor coupled along with 1GB of RAM.

On the camera front, the Lephone W7 sports a 5-MP rear camera with LED flash and on the front it has a 2-MP camera for selfies. Apart from 4G VoLTE connectivity, it also has support for Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, USB OTG, FM radio. The top smartphone sensors included in the handset are an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, and proximity sensor.

As stated above this Lephone mobile has the feature to support 22 regional languages of India. The supported Indian languages are Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Bodo, Dogri, Gujarati, Kannada, Kashmiri, Konkani, Maithili, Malayalam, Manipuri, Marathi, Nepali, Oriya, Sanskrit, Santhali, Sindhi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
