From a couple of months, it has been rumored that LG is working on the 5G smartphone but now the South- Korean company has officially announced that LG is going to conduct an event on February 24 at MWC 2019 where the company would unveil its first 5G smartphone. As per the information surfaced on the internet reveals the high- end smartphone will come with the support of a 5G network which will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 chipset. The company stated that the new chipset will be 45 percent efficient than the previous generation processor.
The LG said in a press statement that its first 5G- enabled smartphone will come with a \'vapor chamber\' cooling system which protects the device from overheating. The company claims that the vapor chamber cooling system will be 2.7 times more effective than the heat pipe system which is currently available on the LG V40 ThinQ. The upcoming 5G smartphone of LG will be powered by a 4,000mAh battery.

LG would initially launch its first 5G- enabled smartphone in few markets - North America, South Korea, and Europe. The rumors regarding the LG first 5G- ready smartphone was initially surfaced on the internet in August in the previous year and the company had revealed that it is working with US network operator Sprint to launch the device in the first half of 2019. Apart from Sprint, LG is also working with various European operators to launch its first 5G device.
It has been rumored that LG would also showcase the G8 flagship smartphone at the same event on February 24. The high- end smartphone is likely to come with a secondary display which allows users either to attach or detach as per their convenience. The LG G8 expected to come with touchless gesture controls, as of now we don\'t know that how gestures controls will work. The rumors surfaced on the internet suggests that the G8 Thin Q expect to come with a 3D camera and a sound on display technology.
