LG might unveil Dual screen V10 in October 1 Event

Besides Microsoft, LG is also sending out its invite to media for the event which is going to be held on October 1 in New York. As you can see from the invite itself, there is going to be some kind of movie theme at the gathering.

It seems that LG is planning to launch more than one high-end smartphone later this year. But since last few month, we have been waiting for a next flagship of LG smartphone of 2015 to become official. And this could be presumable at the event.

From the leaks, LG V10 was said to feature an “auxiliary ticker display” like the Samsung Continuum. The smartphone is listed as the LG-H968, and @evleaks marks a 5.7-inch QHD display with the auxiliary ticker display placed above it.

The high-end smartphone is powered by Snapdragon 808 chipset and clubs a 3GB of RAM. It has the storage of 64GB inbuilt memory, which is further expanded via microSD card slot.

The LG V10 from the camera side equips a 16MP camera at the rear end and 5MP snapper at the top on the front panel.

The auxiliary ticker display could be used to show the RSS feed updates(fresh content updates), text messages and other notifications, similar to Samsung Continuum handset. In the Samsung Continuum, users are offered a small rectangular display below the regular display and on-screen keys.

As per the leaks, the LG V10 will be launched in October, this year. The company is expected to launch and start shipping the rumored Nexus 5 handset from September 29 of this year.
