Meizu, Chinese smartphone manufacturer has silently launched its latest flagship smartphone in India, dubbed as Pro 7 with dual screen and dual rear cameras. The smartphone is now available for purchase exclusively at Amazon India at a price tag of Rs 22,999. The Chinese company has announced the launch information of the smartphone via its official Twitter handle. The tweet read, “It’s here!! The phone you all have been waiting for. Limited stocks. Available only on Amazon!! #BeAPro”.
To recall, the Chinese company had launched the Meizu Pro 7 in China previously in September 2017 along with Pro 7 Plus. The company offers 64GB and 128GB variants in China, whereas in India it comes with only one 64GB variant.
The highlighting feature of the Meizu Pro 7 is its dual-screen display. The first one is positioned on the front side and the second one is positioned on the rear panel. The Meizu Pro 7 boasts a 5.2 inch full-HD Super AMOLED display at the front along with a screen resolution of 1920×1080 pixels and there is also a secondary display which bears a 1.9 full-HD Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 536×240 pixels. The secondary display exhibit information such as weather, time, notifications. It enables the user to control the music player and capture selfies with the help of the main camera. The smartphone boasts a 1.9-inch Super AMOLED secondary display along with a pixel density of 307ppi.

The smartphone is embedded with a MediaTek Helio P25 octa-core SoC which clocked at 2.5GHz coupled with Mali-T880 GPU. The smartphone is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, that can be further extended up to 128GB with the help of memory card.
In terms of optics, the Meizu Pro 7 comes with dual- rear cameras setup with a combination of two 12MP Sony IMX386 sensors - one is used for capturing monochrome pictures and other is used for capturing RGB colors. Further, the rear camera comes with several features such as phase detection autofocus (PDAF), dual-tone LED flash, aperture of f/2.0, 4K videos can shoot at 30 frames per second. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone sport a 16-megapixel front-facing camera with an aperture of f/2.0.
It packs a 3000mAh battery along with the support of charge technology which ensures fast charging. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes dual-SIM support, 4GVoLTE, WiFi 802.11ac, Bluetooth 4.2, and GPS. It runs on Android 7.0 OS coupled with Meizu’s Flyme 6 UI and fingerprint scanner is positioned on the front side of the smartphone. The weight of the smartphone is 164 grams and its dimensions are 147.62×70.72×7.3mm.
