Xiaomi, the renowned Chinese smartphone manufacturer will conduct an annual event in Shenzhen, China, to celebrate its 8th anniversary where the company would unveil various products including Mi 8, Mi Band 3 Fitness Tracker and MIUI 10. The latest reports are suggesting that the company may also launch Mi Note 5 alongside other Xiaomi products. However, the company has not revealed anything regarding the upcoming smartphone, but the alleged Mi Note 5 has been listed on the website of Eurasian Economic Commission (EEC) along with some key specifications.

Some of the specifications and price of the smartphone have appeared on the internet via leaked image. As per the leaked images, it is anticipated that the smartphone would boast a 5.99-inch display along with Full Screen 2.0 design. It may also come with thin- bezels around the corners. The images also revealed that the rumored Mi Note 5 would be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 Chipset, coupled with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, likely to come with four-axis optical image stabilization (OIS). Currently, it is not confirmed that the smartphone would either come with dual-rear cameras or single rear camera.

Xiaomi would be planning to launch directly Mi Note 5 by skipping Mi Note 4 as the successor of Mi Note 3. This move has been implemented by Xiaomi to imitate OnePlus, whereas Shenzhen- based company had directly launched the OnePlus 5 in the previous year. It is worth noting that Xiaomi has recently announced its latest flagship Xiaomi Mi 8 by skipping Mi 7 as the successor of Mi 6.
