Micromax, the leading Indian mobile maker, has launched a new 4G budget smartphone dubbed as Canvas 1 at just Rs. 6,999. The major highlight of this latest Micromax device is it's 2.5D HD display, a quad-core processor, and 4G VoLTE support at this price range. The handset is available to buy in Matte Black and Chrome Black via offline retail outlets across the nation. It must also be noted that the company is also providing the 1-year warranty on any hardware issue.
The latest launched Micromax Canvas 1 operates on Android Nougat and has a 5-inch HD (720x1280) display. The device has been powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6737 processor coupled with 2GB of RAM. This Micromax handset has been equipped with 16GB of inbuilt storage that can be further expanded up to 32GB via MicroSD card.

On the camera front, the Micromax Canvas 1 comes with an 8-megapixel rear camera with flash and a 5-megapixel front camera for selfies and video calling. The connectivity options included in this latest Micromax smartphone are Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, USB 2.0 and has 2500mAh battery for powering purpose.
Apart from all these, the Micromax Canvas 1 has OTG Support that has mass storage, can be connected to the serial communications, keyboards/mouse, game controllers and can easily import photos from a camera. The Micromax Canvas 1 is also the first smartphone to come with a 100-day replacement promise on any hardware issue. The handset measures 143x71x8.3mm and weigh around 150 grams.
