Entitled as the Micromax Canvas 2 (2017), the handset is being offered with a mind blowing offer of daily 1 GB free 4G mobile data and unlimited free calling to any network throughout a year from Airtel. Priced at Rs 11,999, the Canvas 2 (2017) will go on sale in India, today and be available to purchase in Champagne and Black colours at company’s retail outlets across India. The major highlight of this recently launched Canvas 2 (2017) is the Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection, claims to be offered first time at this price sticker by any mobile manufacturer.
At the purchase of the Canvas 2 (2017), the customer will get an Airtel 4G SIM "pre-bundled" with the handset. The durable Gorilla Glass 5 on the Canvas 2 (2017) is said to offer better drop performance and resistance to screen damage. Altogether, a 1-year screen replacement promise is also been given to the customers till the date of activation.
The dual-SIM Canvas 2 (2017) is a 5-inch smartphone with (720x1280) HD display. Powered by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor, the devices runs on Android 7.0 Nougat and have the support of 3GB RAM as primary memory. For secondary memory, the company provides 16GB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 64GB with the use of microSD card.
Optically, the smartphone has been featured with a 13-megapixel rear camera with flash. A bunch of photography modes such as Bokeh, Panorama, and HDR has also been provided by Micromax.
