To diversify the array of Lumia 400-series smartphones, Microsoft has commenced yet another handset into lineup, which has been baptized as Lumia 430 Dual SIM. Apparently, tech giant has made a foray against current budget-friendly mobiles by launching its novel device because it carries an affordable price tag of $70 (approximately Rs. 4,400).
The corporation has boasted that successor of Lumia 435 is "most affordable Lumia to-date." Loaded with Windows Phone 8.1 operating system with Lumia Denim, handset has been claimed to get latest software updates and assimilates essential Microsoft services such as Skype, Office, and OneDrive. To lure the consumers, 30GB of free OneDrive cloud storage has been also offered that will be used for storing documents, pictures, notes and music.
By incorporating a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 200 processor clocked at 1.2GHz and 4-inch LCD Transmissive Capacitive Multipoint-Touch screen, new scion of Lumia family do reminiscent of its predecessor. Here, its display confers a WVGA pixel resolution of 800 x 480p and pixel density of 235ppi.
Coming to imaging front, phone is arrayed with 2-megapixel fixed-focus primary shooter alongside a 0.3-megapixel front sensor. Connectivity options include, 3G, Bluetooth v4.0, USB 2.0, Micro-USB, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and A-GPS functionality. As its name suggests, gadget is paired with Dual SIM card slots.
The device is fueled by a 1500mAh replaceable battery, which has been rated to deliver 12.9 hours and 8.4 hours of talk time on 2G and 3G networks respectively. Touching the memory front, Microsoft Lumia 430 Dual SIM comprises 1GB RAM along with 8GB of internal storage that can be extended upto 128GB by using a microSD card.
Furthermore, handheld measures 120.5x63.19x10.63mm scale and it has been designed in two color models: Orange and Black. As per NDTV, this brand-new devisee of Microsoft will initially touch the soil of some selected markets such as Middle East and Africa, Asia-Pacific, Russia, Kazakhstan and Belarus in the starting of April, while it will be kicked off in India in April end.
