Microsoft Offers full-HD with Lumia 640, Lumia 640 XL, Reached India

It’s been a month when the Redmond juggernaut Microsoft ushered its two mid-range devices at MWC in Barcelona. Now, those devices have been reached to Indian shores to prove their excellence. Lumia 640 Dual SIM and Lumia 640 XL Dual SIM have been introduced for Indian market at Rs. 11,999 and Rs. 15,799 respectively.  

As reported earlier, Lumia 640 will be selling through Flipkart while on the other side, the bigger Lumia 640 XL will be get from every retail store. The e-commerce giant teased for the same in its tweet. At last, the Redmond giant has brought up big size Lumia handsets in market. This is going to happen first time when Microsoft has blessed its affordable handsets with the power of full-HD resolution. However, India people will have to wait few more to get the 4G variants of both devices.

Company is also offering free personal subscription of Office 360 along with both handsets. It is also said that both will get Windows 10 update whenever it comes. Now move to the specs side, the Lumia 640 flaunts a 5-inch full-HD display and if you want to experience more bigger, then the Lumia 640 XL is also here with 5.7-inch display with same full-HD resolution.

Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 quad-core 1.2GHz processor, 1GB of RAM, 8GB internal storage, 128GB expandable storage (via microSD card), Windows Phone 8.1 OS are few specs which are common in both Lumia smartphones.

Both Lumia 640 and Lumia 640 XL perform different on imaging front. The Lumia 640 has 8MP rear and 0.9MP front shooters while the Lumia phablet sports 13MP rear with Carl Zeiss optics and 5MP front shooter. It also packs with a 3000mAh battery while the former one is coupled with 2500mAh battery.
