Microsoft plans to launch Lumia 950/950XL in India on November 30

The American colossal tech, Microsoft, will probably introduce its new Lumia 950 and Lumia 950XL at a press event, which is going to be held this week, on 30th November in Delhi and Mumbai. As per the reports, the company is all set to launch the brand new smartphones in the country, prior the end of this month.

Scrutinizing the specs, Lumia 950 gets a 5.2 inch AMOLED display with a 2560x1440 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 565 ppi. Lumia 950XL is featured by a 5.7 inch IPS display with 2560x1440 pixel resolution and a pixel density of 565 ppi. Powering the Lumia 950 is a hexa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 808, while 950 XL will be packed in a 64-bit octa core Qualcomm Snapdragon 810. These two devices will get the Microsoft 10 tag and are the first ones in the same category, having a special feature of converting the computer or laptop into a full-fledged Windows 10 PC.

Exploring more, both handsets are liquid-cooled and will be available with an adaptive antenna technology. Both will feature USB Type-C port (USB 3.1), along with a faster charging support. The Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL are engineered with a 20-megapixel rear camera with 4k video recording capability, OIS and an f/1.9 aperture. The 5-megapixel sensor is placed at the front with an f/2.4 aperture that is able to shoot full HD videos.

Lumia 950 and Lumia 950 XL will be priced at $549 (approx. Rs.35,800) and $649 (approx. Rs. 42,300) respectively. Both the handsets will have a 32 GB inbuilt storage and up to 200 GB expandable micro SD card supportive facility.
