It’s become a trend in tech industry that whenever a smartphone comes in market, rumours for the successor of that device starts finding their place in the real world. Every tech company; from startups to leaders are going through such pipeline of hearsays and leaks. Lenovo acquired Motorola couldn’t be untouched from such rumour world where the successor of its Moto X (Gen 2) has been leaked with few specifications.
Second generation Moto X captivated the world with its aesthetic and high-end features. Now it is reportedly preparing to make it more enchanting with the third generation. A leaked document has revealed some specs of the alleged Moto X (Gen 3). The model name is clearly visible in the leaked image posted by STJS Gadgets.
As per the leaked specs, the purported Moto X 3rd Gen will get 5.2-inch AMOLED display and will offer QHD (1440 x 2560 pixels) resolution. If it does so, then it would be incredible to watch videos and images on a screen having pixel density of 565ppi. It is also said to come in two storage variants- one with 32GB and another with 64GB built-in storage.

Leak suggests for Android 5.1.1 Lollipop OS support for the alleged Moto X (Gen 2) successor. Phone’s entrails say for Snapdragon 808 hexa-core SoC. 4GB of RAM will also be there to enhance user experience. Other specs which have been spotted in leaked document include 16MP rear camera, 5MP front camera and 3280mAh battery. Well, this isn’t the first time when we heard tittle-tattle for this 3rd generation Moto X. It was rumored for specs earlier in March.
If the leak turns into true then, we can say that World will see a flagship in market which will almost leave other handsets far behind in premiumness. It is speculated that this third generation Moto X will show its glimpse in September.
