The Google has finally pulled out its Nexus smartphone from veil to maintain the legacy of its Nexus series. Branding it with Motorola, the long awaited and anticipated Nexus 6 has been arisen in the smartphone world as a first smartphone with latest Android Lollipop OS. The OS was also announced on the same day when the Nexus devices (Nexus 6 and Nexus 9) showed their ambience in the world.
So, trashing all the rumours for its name, here is the Motorola Google Nexus 6 to knock your socks off with its plenteous features and utterly new Android platform. The Motorola branded Nexus 6 has walloped the smartphone market with its large 5.9 inch Quad HD display. It seems inconvenient to hold an enormously large device in hand, but we can give it a chance to prove itself.
The handset also gives a glimpse of Moto X, but with a large body. The hefty device makes itself worthy by offering Qualcomm Snapdragon 805 chipset which is clocked at 2.7GHz. What’s the next in this device to have a look, here is a dual front-facing stereo speaker carved very wonderfully to give the best experience. All looks perfect in this nifty smartphone. Lock button and volume rocker are placed accurately on phone’s edge.
The potent 3,220mAh battery has enough energy to offer the smartphone a long hours of life. Now, you are curious about what the imaging section has received. So, the Company has made lots of efforts to make it plausible and presented an OIS (Optical Image Stabilization) snapper. However, the 13MP sensor is still the same as predecessor and the dual LED Flash is also crafted on the back for stunning picture output. On the front end, you can experience the good selfie result with 2MP shooter.
Ambient Display and the lightning screen could be the part of this smartphone which are Motorola’s feature and you can’t find these in Android. Well, that’s enough to make it a really convincing device, but there is lot of things we have not gone through. It’s available in two storage variants- 32GB or 64GB. Though, there is no word on the expandable storage. The compelling 3GB RAM boosts the performance with smooth multitasking capability. You have an option of selecting a theme for your handset, either the Cloud White or the Midnight Blue color theme. On the connectivity side, LTE, HSDPA, HSUPA, Wi-Fi 802.11 are few other features. All these are garnished inside the aluminium body.
The Android 5.0 Lollipop is complimenting this handset with its remarkable interface and features. So, the new OS will give the Nexus 6 extra 90 minutes of power via its power saving feature. It is set to go for preorder from October 29 which will be going in retail market to launch in November. The price of the Nexus 6 has also been disclosed. The 32GB Nexus 6 will cost $649 which is such a big amount to spend on a smartphone. This price tag has also made this handset the first pricier Nexus handset.
