While Sony is busy in preparing its arrival at MWC 2018, an image purportedly showing the Xperia XZ2 Compact prototype has surfaced online so that we can get a hint of what\'s next by the Japanese giant. The prototype seems to sport a curved back panel and some major changes over last year\'s Xperia XZ1 Compact. Sony Xperia XZ2 may also be rumored to launch a new flagship model.
Over at the Xperia blog, a reader left a comment on a report mentioning the latest teaser by Sony that includes an alleged image of the Xperia XZ2 Compact prototype. The image highlights one of the sides of the prototype and shows the volume rocker, power/lock button, and camera shutter button. It also gives the glimpse to the curved bottom design, which deviates from Sony’s usual blocky slab design. The reader claimed that while the images are not detailing any of its features, the public version of the Xperia XZ2 Compact will come with the rear-fingerprint sensor, but there is 3.5mm audio jack missing in it. Similarly, the smartphone is said to be similar to the prototype model though leaks come with a thinner top bezel compared to what is shown on the image.
Some other readers on the Xperia Blog said that leaked image appears in the plate + human design concept that was in some news back in 2015.
