The market is buzzing with a number of smartphones getting unveiled on a regular basis both on the international and the domestic market. As per the latest reports, the South Korean smartphone manufacturer LG has now unwrapped a brand new budget-friendly Android smartphone for the its U.S userbase.
The latest smartphone has been priced at INR 5,500 (USD 80) and the company has decided to make it available via Boost Mobile and Virgin Mobile.
In terms of specifications, the GSM-device operates on Android Marshmallow v6.0 OS and this is something which is claimed to be the highlight of the device at this price range. The handset sports a 4.5-inch FWVGA IPS display that gives a resolution of 480x854 pixels and is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 processor along with Qualcomm Adreno 304 GPU paired with 1GB of RAM.
The device additionally offers 8GB of inbuilt storage which can be expanded up to 32GB via microSD card. On the camera front, the device offers a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash coupled with a 0.3-megapixel camera on the front side. The LG K3 packs a 1940mAh removable battery which as per company claims is decent enough to deliver a talk time of up to 14 hours. Last but not the least, the handset offers Bluetooth, GPS, Wi-Fi, 3G, 4G, and Micro-USB connectivity options.
One must recall that the company quite recently expanded its X-series smartphone range by launching four new products under the name X Power, X Style, X Max, and X Mach. Though the company gave no information on the pricing of any nor on the availability, however it did confirm that all the products would get rolled out for the users from next month and along with that, the prices too would get revealed.
The highlight of the LG X Power was its humongous 4100mAh battery while the LG X Style boasted of a sleek design and form factor. The LG X Mach on the contrary sported a QHD IPS Quantum display whilst for LG X Max people expected it to feature a large display.
