New Realme A1 Smartphone In Works

After the separation from Oppo, the Realme so far has launched five smartphones namely the Realme 1, Realme 2, Realme 2 Pro, Realme C1, and Realme U1 in India in the year 2018. The Realme U1 is to be considered the selfie-centric smartphone of the Realme- U series which was launched recently in November 2018 in India. The information regarding the next budget smartphone has started surfacing on the internet which is likely to be called as Realme A1.

The Oppo spin-off has started expanding its business outside India including Southeast Asian countries and Pakistan. Furthermore, the Realme has been diversifying its business in the Indian market rapidly. Initially, Realme devices were launched with sequential numbers like Realme 1, Realme 2 and then the company had introduced the Realme C series and recently added the Realme U-series. Now the company is planning to add new series in its existing line up which is to be called as Realme A series. As per the technological website, it is being speculated that the upcoming Realme smartphone will be known as A1 which will join the hands of Realme C1, Realme U1 and Realme 2.

The recent reports reveal that the Realme A1 will be slightly cheaper than the Realme U1. To recall, the Realme U1 costs Rs 11,999 in India and it is being speculated that the rumoured Realme A1 will be priced under Rs 10,000 when it unveils officially in the Indian market. The reports also indicate that the Realme A1 will come with improved specifications than the Realme 2. It is expected to be available in black and yellow color options, however, the hardware details of the Realme 2 is not available at the moment.

The company has offered water drop-shaped style notch in its recently launched Realme 2 Pro and Realme U1 and there is a probability that the company will offer the same notch in the upcoming Realme A1. It will come with a large screen but the screen or display size of the device is not available at the moment.

The Realme U1 was the first device from the company that has been embedded with MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. At that point in time, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme reported that the company has plans to launch more devices MediaTek chipsets in the near future. So we are assuming that the company might offer MediaTek chipset in the upcoming Realme A series.
