HMD Global, a Finnish multinational company also the new parent company of Nokia has recently launched the Nokia 3310 4G feature phone in China. According to the rumors surfaced online, it is anticipated that the phone has a YunOS 5.2.0 operating system, which is a bifurcated version of Android formulated by China Tech Giant Alibaba. Recently launched Nokia 3310 4G feature phone has been silently added by the company at Nokia’s official website. Yet the company has not revealed the information regarding the price and availability of feature phone. It is anticipated that the HMD Global will officially unveil the price and global availability of the feature phone at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018. HMD Global has joined hands with China Mobile to make available feature phone in the country.
Nokia 3310 feature phone was launched by the company in May at Mobile World Congress in the previous year. At that time, it supported 2G Network and later the Finnish company had upgraded its version from 2G to 3G in the second half of 2017. The Nokia 3310 2G runs on Nokia Series 30+ OS and 3G variant was based on Java operating Operating System. The feature phone comes with a pre-installed MP3 player. In terms of features, Nokia 3310 4G feature phone sport a 2.4-inch display and having a resolution of 320 x 240 pixels. The feature phone has a 256MB of RAM along with 512MB internal storage and it can be further extended up to 64GB via micro SD card. Under the hood, it is powered by a 1200 1200mAh battery and the company claims that it can deliver up to five hours of talk time on a 4G network and 16 hours of music playback with a single charge. The feature phone also has a 2- megapixel rear camera which is located on the rear panel of the phone. From the connectivity board, it includes Bluetooth 4.0, Micro-USB port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, 4G VoLTE and Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n.
