HMD Global introduced its first Nokia branded smartphone dubbed as Nokia 6 in China in a black colour variant, which offers 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage with a price tag of CNY 1,699 (Rs 16,750 approx). Recently, a new Silver colour variant has also been spotted on the Yahoo Taiwan online store priced at TWD 7,790 (Rs 16,500 approx).
The listing also says that the silver coloured variant features 4GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage. It seems to be a completely a new offering as the China variant packs 4GB of RAM and 64GB of inbuilt storage, whereas the global variant was announced to come with 3GB of RAM and 32GB of inbuilt storage. Moreover, some of the markets are also expected to get the Arte Black special edition, with 4GB RAM and 64GB storage.
Rest of the specifications remain the same as the company initially announced. Taiwanese people also have an option to go with the Black colour variant of the handset also if they don’t want to go with this 3GB RAM/32GB inbuilt storage variant. The Nokia 6 smartphone is also available in Arte Black, Matte Black, Tempered Blue, and Copper in other regions.
Concerning the specifications, the Nokia 6 Android smartphone is blessed with a 5.5-inch full-HD display along with the protection of a 2.5D Gorilla Glass on the top. The Dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a Snapdragon 430 SoC and is backed up by a 3000 mAh non-removable battery with fast-charging support.
In term of optics, the GSM handset packs a 16-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, phase detection autofocus, and dual-tone flash. An 8-megapixel front shooter is also provided by the company with f/2.0 aperture for selfie enthusiasts. Moreover, the device also packs USB 2.0 port for connectivity, a fingerprint sensor in the front, stereo speakers and Dolby Atmos audio enhancement. HMD Global is going to make its debut on May 8, 2017, in the Indian market. The launch date of Nokia 3310 (2017), Nokia 3, Nokia 5, Nokia 6 is also expected, still, the official details will be unveiled on this coming Monday.
