Nokia Ready To Launch Latest Android Smartphone Before MWC 2018

Nokia is planning to launch some more new smartphones running on Android on 25th February just one day ahead of MWC 2018. The company has sent invites to media that the event will be conducted in Barcelona on 25th February 2018 which is considered the trade show.

Juho Sarvikas, Chief Product Officer of HMD Global tweets on a social media platform that the event will be awesome. “Sorry for the radio silence. Been super busy planning # MWC2018. Please expect it to be awesome.” said Sarvikas. Yet the company has not announced any information regarding the upcoming Nokia smartphones but it is anticipated that the company will unveil some new smartphones such as Nokia 9, Nokia 1 (Android Go), Nokia 7, Nokia 4 and Nokia 3310 4G feature phone just one day ahead MWC 2018.

In the previous year, Nokia had launched several smartphones at MWC 2017 which was considered a quite big splash. Along with the smartphones, Nokia 3310 feature phone was also launched by the company in the previous year at MWC 2017. The recent reports suggesting that the company is going to launch Nokia 9 flagship smartphone and Nokia 1 (Android Go).

It is anticipated that the Nokia 6 (2018) will be launched globally which was launched in China earlier this year. The same thing had been done by the company in last year as well, the company had launched globally the Nokia 6 (2017) edition at MWC but a month ago it was launched in China.

Alongside Nokia 9, Nokia 1, Nokia 6 (2018), and Nokia 3310 4G, it is anticipated that the China-exclusive Nokia 7 will be showcased globally at pre- MWC 2018. The reports have not mentioned the unveiling of Nokia 4 but we are anticipating this too at the event. As we mentioned that Nokia 3310 4G feature phone recently listed on TENNA official website with Android-based YunOS.

It is rumored that Nokia 9 will come with delighting features and Nokia 1 would be the first smartphone that runs on Android Go.

Nokia Invitation interprets that, "Welcome Home" and "Join us at the Home of Nokia Phones for an intimate and exclusive unveiling of the next chapter of our story” and asks for the registration for a “house key”. In the image shown below, there is a one couple sitting in the house under a light bulb and staring at the bulb. This might be an indication of a new connected home product, but that is mere speculation.
