Nokia has made tough and good looking Lumia phones with windows phone 8 operating system. But these phones were unable to compete with other phones which are running on iOS and Android due to their higher number of applications. Android, being an open source operating system, is available on many devices of different brands. Now Nokia is also working on their existing low budget smartphones with Windows Phone 8 operating system to deal with their android competitor.
With the lower RAM in Lumia series budget smartphones, many users were filing complaints against the low performance and compatibility. Hence Nokia company has arrived with a new Lumia device 525 with 1 GB of RAM. Compared to Android, it would not seem to be exciting, but it will work great with Windows Phone 8 device. The company has released the pictures and specifications of the phone but they haven’t disclosed the prices for it.
The phone will be having configuration similar to Lumia 520 with few changes. The biggest change will be in the RAM which will go higher from 512 MB to 1 GB. The new phone will also have a 6 mega pixel camera without flash. Now in a few days, Nokia will be making this phone available for purchase and then its exact price would get revealed, but it is expected to cost between Rs.12,000 to Rs.13,000.
