HMD Global is all set to unveil its new flagship smartphone, dubbed as Nokia X at the launch event which is scheduled for 27th April 2018 in China. The recent report suggests that hoardings of the upcoming smartphone have been spotted in a mall in China, teasing the upcoming smartphone. As of now, it is not clear whether the smartphone will unveil globally or not, excluding China.
It is a big surprise for all of us, as HMD Global has recently launched a trio of smartphones in India including Nokia 6 (2018), Nokia 7 Plus, Nokia 8 Sirocco and Nokia 8110 4G feature phone. Apart from these, the company also launched the Nokia 1 on 27th March in India at a price tag of Rs 5499. It is the first smartphone being offered by HMD global which is based on Android Oreo Go Edition. A digital advertisement which recently appeared in China teases that the two phones crossing each other to make the symbol ‘X’ and the launch date specified below. Currently, the company has not sent the press invites and there is no information on the company\'s social media accounts.

The key details and specifications of the upcoming smartphone have not been revealed by the company in the advertisement, so we don’t know what to expect from Nokia X. From the advertisement, it is clear that Nokia X is real and it will be unveiled on 27th April particularly in China. The recent report suggests that it fall under mid-range offering instead of the flagship.
However, the specifications of Nokia X have not been disclosed by the company, but the leaked report suggests that the Nokia X is likely to feature a 6GB of RAM, 64GB internal storage, Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 SoC and protected with 2.5D Curved Gorilla glass and metal body.
According to leak reports, it is anticipated that HMD Global is likely to launch two new smartphones in August this year - Nokia 9 and Nokia 8 Pro. It seems Nokia 9 is said to feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC, 8GB of LPDDR4X RAM, and 256GB of inbuilt storage and runs on Android 8.1 Operating System. The major key highlights of Nokia 9 is triple lens camera setup at the rear panel. It includes a 41-megapixel sensor, a 20-megapixel sensor, and a third 9.7-megapixel sensor with Carl Zeiss optics.
