The budget smartphone brand, Obi has announced two mobile: Crane S550 And Leopard S502 in Android KitKat segment for Indian market. Manifestly, this brand has been Co-founded by former Apple CEO John Sculley with a goal to provide affordable handsets among the people that are not able to buy phones at higher prices. The devices have been listed at online portals with price tags of Rs. 8,390 and Rs. 7,499 respectively, but yet-to-be launched officially.

In the terms of specifications, the handsets share identical specs and features. These dual-SIM supported devices are powered by 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek processor. To connect the consumers with endless fun both the smartphones are arrayed with 3G, GPRS, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n and Bluetooth connectivity options.

These mobile phones are paired with 1GB RAM alongside 8GB inbuilt storage, which can be expanded upto 32GB via microSD card. Taking a glance on the imaging, then smartphones are armed with 8-megapixel rear autofocus camera with LED flash. Also, they confer 5-megapixel front snappers, which make them new heirs in array of selfie-focused smart devices.

Notably, the handhelds assimilate proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensor in their shell. At this point, a question must be arrived that on what aspect these devices are unlike from each other? Then Crane S550 bears a larger 5.5-inch qHD TFT IPS display, whereas Leopard S502 is decked with a 5-inch screen size.

However, Obi Crane S550 is fueled by a 2400mAh battery, that is rated to deliver 6 hours of talk time as well as 180 hours of standby time. While, its sibling is packed with smaller 2100mAh battery and there is no word regarding its lifespan.

As per Obi, the tech giant is spreading its wings in Indian marketplace even more than other ones', because the growing native tech space is a  perfect launchpad for the business of their handsets. Apparently,  the brand has already launched some mobiles to provide a best-in-class user interface like Octopus S520 and Wolverine S501  in domestic market.
