OnePlus, the well-known Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm has started distributing the first OxygenOS 3.5.4 update to its OnePlus 3T smartphones, which is still based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The company has confirmed earlier that the new Oxygen OS update will be rolled out over-the air (OTA). The company team, in its forum post stated, “The OTA will reach a small percentage of users today, and we'll begin a broader rollout in a few days.”
The new update of the Android smartphone will feature optimisations for US-TMO network and will reduce lag, when the battery is low than 5 percent. It will also provide optimised Bluetooth connectivity for Mazda cars with an availability of optimised battery saving mode. According to OnePlus, the GPS and orientation preferences of the handset will be restored,when the Battery Saving Mode is closed. The new update will also fix various other bugs including flashlight usability issue in whatsapp and increases system stability.
Just for a recall, the OnePlus 3T has recently been introduced in the country at a price rate of Rs 29,999 for 64GB inbuilt storage model and Rs 34,999 for 128GB inbuilt storage model, which makes it the most expensive OnePlus smartphone till date.
Moreover, The company has also started to roll out the latest Android 7.0 Nougat based community build for its OnePlus 3 smartphone. The new update to OnePlus 3 handset includes improvements in some features, which includes expanded screenshots, shelf design optimisations, general UI optimisations, Battery performance optimisations, DPI optimisations, stability and general optimisations and normal bug fixes in the smartphone.
