As you all know that OnePlus 2 is already available in the market and it's expected that OnePlus 3 will make its way in the market soon. There are some specifications and features along with images of the OnePlus 3 smartphone that have been leaked online by the famous leaker and tipster. Now, let's take a look at the same.
OnePlus has finally moved on from its Sandstone coated back. It appears to have a unibody metal with only the power and volume buttons as accents. Taking about its front, there will be no touch targets for the home back or multi-taking buttons either. But, a front facing speaker will be displayed at the bottom. Moreover, there is no fingerprint scanner out here as well.
Moving to the back side of the phone, there is only a camera unit, present at the top, while the OnePlus logo sits on the bottom end. According to the tipster and leaker, the OnePlus 3 will be packed with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset, but will still stick to its Full HD display.
After seeing the above images, you will find that there is no fingerprint reader button anywhere on the device that could indicate that the company may be hiding the ultrasonic fingerprint reader within the device. According to the note from Qualcomm, “QTI's ultrasonic fingerprint technology has a number of distinct advantages over capacitive touch-based fingerprint technologies, including the ability to scan through a smartphone cover that is made of glass, aluminum, stainless steel, sapphire and plastics”.
