OnePlus has created a lot of buzz before launch because of the leaks and rumours. And now the CEO Pete Lau has hinted towards the True wireless Earbuds and dropping the 3.5mm audio jack. Lau hinted it by saying that they are planning to ‘polish’ the wireless headset experience which points out that along with OnePlus 7 company will offer wireless earbuds.
As all these are assumptions, and it might also be possible that the company might enhance the OnePlus Bullets Wireless which came into the market last year instead of launching wireless earbuds. Every speculation will be cleared once the company announces the launch of the OnePlus 7.
In a post, the CEO said that the company is planning to drop the 3.5mm jack from the lineup without any doubt. He thinks that there is a lot of future scope for the wireless headset product as it can further be updated. He also says that the current product is undoubtedly "very good, [but] it can be even more extreme". This statement points out towards the new product by boosting up its wireless audio experience and that new product will most probably be the true wireless earbuds same like the Apple AirPods and the Samsung Galaxy Buds.

In 2018, along with OnePlus 6 the company launched the OnePlus Bullets Wireless and it is not wrong to speculate that the company will upgrade the lineup. The post posted by the CEO is left open as Lau wants the followers to send their suggestions suggesting the company about the new feature that must be included to upgrade the wireless headset experience.
By this post, it is not wrong to speculate that the company is planning to give the tough competition to the Apple AirPods and the Samsung Galaxy Buds. If this so happens then we can assume that the successor of OnePlus Bullets Wireless will be launched along with the OnePlus 7.
But at this point in time, it will be wrong to believe all these speculations as the company has not yet confirmed anything about it. The company has not yet teased the smartphone and also the audio product.
The OnePlus 7 will be disclosed soon with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 SoC. The leaks also point out that the forthcoming smartphone will come with a pop-up front camera. All these are just speculations, so let us wait for the confirmation from the company.
