Oppo might launch an affordable smartphone for the customers dubbed as Oppo A1K with a single camera at the back and a dewdrop notch. The specification list of the budget-friendly smartphone has been leaked.
The Oppo A1K might flaunt a 6.0-inch or a larger display. Under the hood, the smartphone will house a MediaTek Helio P22 octa-core processor which is manufactured on 12nm FinFET process of the TSMC. Eight ARM Cortex-A53 cores are included in the Helio which are clocked at 2.0 GHz.

The chipset comes along with an IMG PowerVR GE8320 GPU which is clocked at 650 MHz. This is for the very first time that Oppo is launching a smartphone with Helio P22 chipset and that smartphone is the Oppo A1K.
In terms of the storage, the Oppo A1K will come in one variant i.e. 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. There is no mention of microSD card slot in the specification list but as per reports the storage can be expandable up to 256GB. The handset weighs 165 grams and measures 154.4 x 77.4 x 8.4mm.
The phone packs a large capacity battery according to the budget phone i.e. 4000mAh battery and there will be no support of fast charging. The handset will run on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box which will be based on ColorOS 6.0. The Oppo A1K will come in two colours during the launch i.e. Black and Red.
The company is also planning to launch Oppo A5s apart from A1K soon. As per the reports the smartphone flaunts a 6.2-inch HD+ resolution display along with a waterdrop notch at the top and an Helio P35 octa-core processor under the hood.
