Oppo, the renowned Chinese smartphone maker, had launched its selfie-focussed Oppo F5 smartphone in India earlier this month in two variants - 4GB RAM with 32GB internal storage and 6GB RAM with 64GB internal storage priced at Rs 19,990 and Rs 24,990 respectively. We might be knowing that the Oppo F5 4GB RAM variant was made available for sale from November 9, while the company announced that the 6GB variant will be available for sale sometime in December. Now the company has made Oppo F5 6GB variant is available for pre-order on Flipkart and will be available for sale from December 1 for Rs 24,990. The handset will be available in Red and Black color options. while the Red color variant is currently not listed on Flipkart, which has been launched in partnership with Vogue India to celebrate their 10th anniversary.
The device operates on Android 7.1 Nougat with company's ColorUI 3.2 running on top of it. The smartphone has 3,200mAh battery and on the connectivity front, it has support dual sim support, 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2 and GPS. The handset measures 156.5 x 76 x 7.5mm and weighs about 152 grams.

The major highlight of this latest Oppo smartphone is the front-facing 20-megapixel camera with 1/2.8 inch sensor with aperture f/2.0. The selfie camera comes with AI technology promises clear and beautiful selfies and can also be used to unlock the device using facial recognition system. The Oppo F5 offers bokeh effect and can scan 200 facial recognition spots to beautify a selfie shot perfectly. The rear camera comes with a 16-megapixel rear camera with LED flash and f/1.8 aperture.
The smartphone sports a 6-inch Full HD+ display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and Corning Glass 5 protection and a screen resolution of 2160 x 1080 pixels. The handset has been powered by 2.5GHz octa-core MediaTek Helio P23 16nm processor with 800MHz ARM Mali G71 MP2 GPU along with 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage that can be further expanded up to 256GB via microSD card slot. There is also a fingerprint sensor on the back panel and it t comes with latest O-share - a wireless transfer technology that promises 100 times faster transfers compared to Bluetooth.
