Alongside Oppo R17 Pro, Oppo has quietly launched the Oppo R17 at an event in Mumbai on 4 December. It was initially launched in the China market in August during this year. Oppo R17 shares most of the specifications with Oppo R17 Pro variant except some minor changes.
Likewise Oppo R17 Pro, the Oppo R17 also gets a water drop shaped display notch protected with Corning Gorilla Glass 6 on the top. The Oppo R17 comes with a physical fingerprint scanner instead of the under-display scanner. It also features a VOOC (not Super VOOC) fast charging technology which the company claims to offer up to two hours of talk time only in five minutes of charging.
In India, The Oppo R17 comes with a price tag of Rs 34,990. The pre-bookings started from 4 December at Amazon.in but Oppo has not revealed the availability details.
