Long time of wait has been reached to end as the OnePlus has finally pulled off the curtain from its much anticipated custom ROM, the OxygenOS. The Chinese juggernaut has finally rolled out its Android Lollipop based custom software to offer its users enhanced experience.
To enjoy this new custom OS on your OnePlus device will need lots of efforts as it can be downloadable manually via company website. Company has claimed that its not the final build as it has lots of bugs and issues.
This OxygenOS has brought few customizations in stock Android Lollipop which will give you the option of gesture support and many others. First off, the gesture support will allow you to access smartphone via some gesture features like draw O on screen to open camera, double tap to wake and many others like software navigation buttons.
OnePLus wrote in its blog post, "Developing OxygenOS has been an incredibly fun and challenging experience for all of us. In this environment where everyone is fighting to standout with custom ROMs, we think it’s important to go back to basics. We place things like performance and battery life over gimmicks and bloated features. We want to be careful that we aren’t adding features simply for the sake of differentiation. We’ve implemented some important features thus far, but they are subtle and meaningful. That’s our philosophy behind OxygenOS: keep it light and essential."
