Panasonic, the Japanese smartphone manufacturing firm has launched its newly built smartphone in Indian markets dubbed as Eluga Arc 2. The handset is hanged with a price tag of Rs. 12,290 and will be available in Gold and Rose color variants.

The company has bundled the smartphone with its premium protective screen guard. It is the successor of Eluga Arc smartphone, which was launched in India in April this year for INR 12,490.
Panasonic Eluga Arc 2 comes with many enticing features like Turbo Download feature that allows mobile data and Wi-Fi for faster downloads. For the protection, it is layered with 2.5D curved glass with Asahi Dragontrail Glass and also used Outdoor-Pro Display technology for sunlight legibility.
The Japanese based company touted that the Eluga Arc 2 sports ‘minimal plastic’ on the metal body made out of CNC aluminum and the smartphone also supports the USB OTG option.
As for the specifications, the newly dual SIM based smartphone flaunts a 5-inch HD On-Cell Touch display having a resolution of 720*1280 pixels. On the software end, it runs on Android 6.0 based Marshmallow operating system out of the box. The Eluga Arc 2 is fueled by a 1.3GHz quad-core processor combined with 3GB of RAM.
For the optics, the GSM-based handset is loaded with an 8-megapixel camera at the rear end with LED flash and a 5-megapixel front facing camera on the board. The device has the internal storage of 32GB, that can be further expandable up to 128GB via microSD card slot expansion.
For the connectivity, the Eluga Arc 2 includes 4G LTE with VoLTE support, Wi-Fi, GPS/ A-GPS, Bluetooth, and FM radio options. Dimensionally, the smartphone is measuring a 144x72x7.6mm and weighs 147.00 grams. Additionally, it adds proximity sensor, ambient light sensor, and an accelerometer.
