Panasonic Launches Eluga I4 With Arbo Virtual Assistant

Panasonic has announced the launch of its latest budget smartphone known as Eluga I4. Priced at Rs 8290, the smartphone will be available at all Panasonic authorized outlets across the country and it comes in Blue, Black and Gold color options. The smartphone features a 5.2-inch HD IPS display with a screen resolution of 1280 x 720 pixels. The device is powered by a quad-core MediaTek MTK6737 processor clocked at 1.25GHz. The phone is backed by a 2GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 128GB via micro SD card slot. The smartphone comes with a fingerprint sensor, which is embedded in the home button.

On the camera front, the device features an 8-megapixel rear camera with autofocus and LED flash, while for the front, there is a 5-megapixel shooter for selfies and video calling. The Eluga I4 runs on Android 7.1.1 Nougat and is backed by a 3000mAh battery. Further, the device is integrated with company’s in-house virtual assistant Arbo. On the connectivity front, the device supports 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi 802.11 b/g/n, dual-SIM and micro USB port. The device measures 146.7×71.3×8.3mm and measures 150.7 grams.

Panasonic seems to be on launching sphere these days. The company has already announced (at the launch event of Eluga A3 and Eluga A3 Pro) that it will launch 11 new smartphones this year in India. The company has recently announced Eluga Ray 500 and Eluga Ray 700 earlier this month for Rs 8,999 and Rs 9,999 respectively. Apart from this, the company has announced Eluga I2 Activ and P9, since the announcement, making a total count of seven smartphones in a span of two months.
