Few weeks earlier, Panasonic came out in lights because of its teasing poster of upcoming smartphone P81 which is now all set to launch in Indian market today. It will be uncovered in an event which is scheduled to held in Gurgaon. The phone is getting attention due to its octa-core processor that has enhanced the value of the handset.
According to some sources, it is expected to be priced at Rs. 18,990 and will be available in the stores from tomorrow to buy. Its octa-core processor perform fast at 1.7GHz CPU frequency. We can't say anything about chipset before the official launch. Going to the storage section, it is coupled with 16GB built-in storage and supports microSD card which can store data upto 32GB. On the software front, Android 4.2.2 Jelly Bean OS is used along with Play Life UI.
The device has sleek design with 7.9MM thickness. It features 5.5 inch HD display and comes with dual SIM support. On the imaging front, its 13MP rear snapper can capture quality pictures. Its front gets 2MP shooter that is good for clicking perfect selfies and for video calling. Connectivity option gets GPS, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth 3.0 A2DP support. Its 1GB RAM is enough to perform smoothly with several apps.
Panasonic P81 is backed by 2500mAh battery which delivers long hours of battery back-up. The phone is blessed with swappable back covers and screen guard. It also comes with pre-installed apps like Evernote etc.
