A leading mobile manufacturing Company Philips seems to announce its new Android smartphone for Indian market soon. The Philips S398 could be the next appearance by the maker as it is listed on Company India website with specs. However, the price for the same has not been disclosed by the officials yet.
Well, let’s begin with its specifications which are amazing enough to lure customers. A 5-inch HD IPS display is crafted so wonderfully on device’s body to offer 720x1280 pixels screen resolution. Android 4.4 KitKat OS is quite compelling to give fine experience with its easy-to-understand and attractive UI. Providing dual SIM slot, the Philips S398 is a very decent phone with stylish built.
To perform like a performance beast, it takes the power from a quad-core MediaTek MT6582M processor, clocked at 1.3GHz. A 1GB RAM is also coupled along with the processor to enhance the user experience with smooth multitasking. An 8GB built-in storage offers enough space for storing huge data, and if you need more room for the same, then a microSD card slot also houses inside the smartphone with capability to store upto 32GB data.
Philips S398 is paired o beautifully with an 8-megapixel autofocus rear camera which captures quality images with the help of CMOS sensor and LED flash. A 2-megapixel front shooter is also situated on-board. This smartphone is fueled by a 2040mAh battery which promises to deliver upto 8 hrs of talk time on 2G network and upto 4 hrs of talk time on 3G network.
For connectivity purpose, it has Bluetooth 4.0, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, GPS/ A-GPS, GPRS/ EDGE, and 3G (WCDMA) options. Its listing is telling about its Black color variant only. It is the successor of Philips S388 is expected to launch in the country very soon.
