The Chinese mobile maker: Huawei has finally launched its budget-friendly smartphone, Honor Bee in the crazy competitive marketplace of India. To recall, corporation had sent out an invite a while ago for the inauguration ceremony of this device, which was held in Mumbai on the 8th of May. By incorporating decent internal hardware, handset carries an affordable price tag of Rs. 4,999 in order to cater the need of budget-conscious consumers.
The mobile phone is fitted with an 8-megapixel auto-focus rear camera with dual LED flash and its front panel is coupled with a 2-megapixel front shooter. Fueled by a 1730 mAh battery, new scion of Honor family houses Quad-core SC7731 processor clocked at 1.2GHz. Paired with Dual SIM card slots, phone features a 4.5 inch Capacitive touch screen display that offers a pixel resolution of 854 x 480p. The gadget has been designed in two color models: Black and White and it weighs just 170 grams (including battery).
In terms of connectivity, Huawei Honor Bee bestows 3G, Bluetooth 4.0 + EDR, Wi-Fi 802.11b/g/n, GPS/AGPS and microUSB options. On software front, it is loaded with Android 4.4 KitKat with Emotion UI. Memory-wise, smartphone comprises 1GB RAM paired with 8GB of expandable internal storage, which can be extended upto 32GB by using a microSD card.
Moreover, mobile is available exclusively to pre-order through online portal: Flipkart and registered customers will get their hands on device from the 11th of May. To lure the folks, a launch offer of 10 percent discount on price has been announced, but it is valid for a limited period and only applicable on the purchase via debit or credit card.
