The Chinese mobile maker, Lenovo has launched the Moto Z2 Play in the US last week. The company reportedly said that the pre- orders of the smartphone in India will be started from 8 June. It must be noted that the company has still not declared the launching date of the Z2 Play in India, whereas it has shared the information for pre-booking the smartphone in the country and the potential customers can avail the offers.
On Friday Lenovo tweeted, “ We see today's smartphones & raise you a #smarterphone." To initiate the process of purchasing Moto Z2 Play smartphone, interested customers must have to pay Rs. 2,000 and the rest of the amount within 10 months with zero percent interest rate. Lenovo is offering Moto Armor pack, which covers protective accessories of the smartphone and the offer will be provided to the customers pre- booking the smartphone.
Lenovo reportedly is also offering Moto Mods as “great pre-booking offers" to all the prospective customers but has not mentioned all the details of this offer. It is expected that the company will disclose the details of offers in brief once the pre- booking begins.
To recall, Lenovo has recently launched the Moto Z2 Play at $499 (approximately Rs. 32,200) in the US. The smartphone is similar to its predecessor, Moto Z2 Play supports Moto Mods and the connecting pins located at the back of the phone. The rear camera equips a round bump ring and the fingerprint scanner which is placed in the Home Button in the front is also of circular shape. It is powered by a 3000mAh battery, which is very low in terms of capacity as compared to its predecessor.
From the specifications front, the Lenovo Moto Z2 Play supports Android 7.1.1 Nougat and sports 5.5-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels). The smartphone is blessed with Super AMOLED display and Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection. It is available in two variants i.e., 3GB RAM plus 32GB storage and 4GB RAM plus 64GB storage, that can be further extended (up to 2TB) via microSD card slot. The mobile phone is coupled with 2.2GHz Snapdragon 626 octa-core processor.
From the camera front, the Moto Z2 Play is blessed with a 12-megapixel rear camera along with 1.4-micron pixel sensor, a colour correlated temperature (CCT) dual-LED flash, an aperture of f/1. 5. It sports the 5-megapixel front facing camera along with the wide-angle lens, dual-LED CCT flash and f/2.2 aperture for selfie- lovers or video calling lovers.
