Razer Phone 2 Will Unveil In December Along With Latest Processor

Chen Xiaoping, Razer VP has announced that the second generation of Razer Phone is likely to be called Razer Phone 2. Also it is soon coming to the China market most probably in December. It is anticipated that the Razer Phone 2 will unveil globally by the end of December.

He made the official announcement of Razer Phone 2 at ChinaJoy 2018 (a digital entertainment exhibition) by adding that it will be packed with the latest processor.

The first Razer phone which was launched in the previous year featured with Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC. It is anticipated that the Razer Phone 2 could be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC. Qualcomm is about to showcase advanced mobile processor most probably in December, So it won\'t be surprising if the Razer Phone will be packed with Qualcomm Snapdragon 855.

Chen has not revealed more specs or information regarding the Razer Phone 2 but only revealed that Razer Phone 2 is in the development phase. Due to first Razer phone achievement in the smartphone segment, it’s sure that soon you will see the successor of first Razer smartphone.

The previously launched Razer phone came with a refresh rate of 120Hz that we had never seen before in the commercial smartphone. Only the iPad Pro came with such kind of configuration. The higher refresh rate made the smartphone smoother which is must in the gaming smartphone.

It is true that Razer is the first smartphone to hit in the smartphone industry specifically developed for the gaming purpose and later than players like Asus and Xiaomi have joined the race.

Razer Phone 1 Specifications

The Razer Phone 1 featured a 5.7-inch IGZO LCD display with a screen resolution of (1440x2560 pixels, Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 SoC coupled with 8GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The smartphone was powered by a 4,000mAh battery.

The Razer Phone looks similar to Nextbit Robin in terms of design which was not surprising as the gadget launched just after Razer\'s acquisition of Nextbit.
