The Realme 2 was launched in India on 28th August at an event in New Delhi. Within a week of launch, the Realme 2 goes on sale today on 4th September, which is scheduled at 12 PM IST exclusively at Flipkart. Currently, it is available in two color options including Diamond Black and Diamond Red.
The Realme 2 is a successor of previously launched Realme 1 which the company claims that it had captured nearly 4 percent market share in the smartphone segment with its first smartphone.
After getting the great response from the Indian customers, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer company has now launched the new smartphone under the Realme brand.
The Realme has also offered a new service called \'CallMe\' in the Realme 2 which allows the users get the support from customer care in respect of any queries. As expected, the Realme 2 comes with a notch on the top of the display which is the highlighting point of the recently launched smartphone.
The company claims that the presence of a notch in Realme 2 will perform various tasks. After the India launch, it will be launched in other markets as well namely the Southeast Asia and the Middle East. However, the Chinese tech giant has not announced when it would unveil the Realme 2 in other markets.
As we already mentioned that the much-rumored Realme 2 is available for purchase exclusively at Flipkart. The smartphone features a diamond cut pattern design as well as dual cameras on the rear panel.

The Realme 2 boasts 6.2-inch HD+In-Cell display which offers the screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio, 88.8 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 360 nits of maximum brightness.
In terms of hardware, the Realme 2 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB/64GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 256GB by using a microSD card.
In terms of lens, the Realme 2 features dual cameras on the rear panel which consist the combination of 13-megapixel primary sensor and 2-megapixel secondary sensor. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone gets an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. It has been equipped with various AI (Artificial Intelligence) features such as Face Unlock, Smart Unlock, Smart Drive, AI Board and more.
As far as the price is concerned, the Realme 2 base 3GB RAM + 32GB variant has been priced at Rs 8,990, whereas the 4GB RAM + 64GB internal storage variant is retailing at Rs 10,990. As expected, the Realme 2 is now set to go on sale starting from today onwards (4th September 2018) which is scheduled at 12 PM IST at Flipkart.
Currently, the company has launched the Diamond Black and Diamond Red colors of Realme 2 but it is anticipated that the Blue color variant will be unveiled by the company in the month of October. As a part of launch offers, the Realme is offering a discount of Rs 750 specifically to HDFC Bank credit and debit card purchases.
Furthermore, the users will get the cashback amounting Rs 2,200 from Reliance Jio in the form of 44 vouchers each amounting Rs 50. The cashback amount will be credited to the users in their MyJioApp. The users can also avail partner vouchers of Rs 2,000 from Paytm and Lenskart.
To recall, the Realme 1 came with an economy price tag (Rs. 8,990 for the base model). The Real Me 1 packed in a good load of specs and features. The RealMe 1 was launched in May earlier this year in three variants.

3. 6GB RAM/ 128GB storage variant at Rs. 13,990
Color options on the RealMe 1 include Diamond Black, Moonlight Silver, and Solar Red. On the front, it carries a 6-inch full-HD+ display and underhood it is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P60 SoC clocked at 2GHz coupled with a dual-core AI-specific chip.
A 13-megapixel camera sits on the rear. And the smartphone runs on a 3,410mAh battery. On the connectivity front, one gets dual 4G VoLTE support on the Realme 1.
