As expected, Redmi Note 6 Pro has been launched by Xiaomi in India on November 22 at an event scheduled in New Delhi. The Redmi Note 6 Pro was initially unveiled in Thailand and some other markets as a global variant and now the smartphone finally made its way to the Indian market. The Redmi Note 6 Pro is a successor of best- selling Redmi Note 5 Pro and former features quad cameras along with AI-powered capabilities, Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 SoC, a larger 400mAh battery.
In India, Redmi Note 6 Pro from Xiaomi comes with a starting price of Rs 13,999 for base 4GB RAM/ 64GB variant and goes up to Rs 15,999 for high 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant. The smartphone comes in new color options including Blue, Black, Rose Gold and Red. It will go on sale from tomorrow (23rd November) during the Black Friday sale on Flipkart. The sale of Redmi Note 6 Pro will commence at 12 noon on Mi official website, Mi Home Stores and Flipkart.
The prices of newly launched Redmi Note 6 Pro slashed by Rs 1000 of both storage models during the Black Friday Sale on Flipkart. It will be made available at Rs. 12,999 and Rs. 14,999 for 4GB RAM/ 64GB model and for 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage model respectively. It must be noted these prices will be valid only on Black Friday Sale.

Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro bears a 6.26-inch full-HD+ IPS LCD Full-Screen Display. The smartphone offers 86 percent screen-to-bod, 19:9 aspect ratio, pixel density is 403 along with display notch which is missing in the Redmi Note 5 Pro. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo -out-of-the-box skinned with MIUI on the top.
On the top of the display, the Redmi Note 6 Pro is protected with 2.5D Corning Gorilla Glass and comes with rounded corners.
Under the hood, it is powered by the same 14nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 processor, integrated with an Adreno 509 GPU. In India, Redmi Note 6 Pro has been launched in two variants for 4GB RAM/ 64GB internal storage and 6GB RAM/ 64GB storage model.
In terms of lens, the Redmi Note 6 Pro comes with dual front and rear cameras. The rear camera set up consisting of a 12MP primary sensor and a 5MP secondary sensor with an aperture lens of f/1.9 and f/2.2 respectively. The dual rear camera setup comes with features like Dual Pixel Autofocus, HDR, Panorama, Burst mode, EIS for video recording and Dynamic Bokeh.
For selfies and video calling, the Redmi Note 6 Pro packs dual 20MP + 2MP sensors with an aperture lens of f/2.0 and f/2.2 respectively on the front panel. The front camera gets AI Portrait selfie along with Beautify 4.0. It features 4-in-1 Super Pixel with an effective 1.8-micron pixel size.
