Samsung Galaxy A50, Galaxy A30, Galaxy A10 Launched in India

Finally, the Samsung Galaxy A-series smartphones have been launched in India. The A-series contains Galaxy A10, Galaxy A30, and Galaxy A50 smartphones. All the three smartphones sport Super AMOLED display panels, multiple camera sensors and up to 4,000mAh battery. The A-series models also have Android Pie 9 out of the box with One UI of the Samsung at the top. Samsung disclosed the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 in the markets across the world in this week while they were showcased at the MWC (Mobile World Congress) 2019.

Along with the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50, Samsung also launched the Galaxy A10 which is affordable in the A-series family. The Galaxy A-series smartphones are the mid-range and entry-level segment of the company in India which will compete with the rivals Xiaomi, Oppo and Vivo.

Price and Availability of the Samsung Galaxy A50 in India

The price sticker of Samsung Galaxy A50 for different variants is-

  • For 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the smartphone comes with a price tag of Rs 19,990.
  • While for the 6GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage, the smartphone costs Rs 22,990.

The smartphone will be available in three colour options-

  • Blue
  • Black
  • White

Price and Availability of the Samsung Galaxy A30 and Samsung Galaxy A10 in India

The Samsung Galaxy A30 comes with the price sticker of Rs 16,990 while the Galaxy A10 holds the price tag of Rs 8,490. Both the smartphones will be available in three color options- Black, Blue and Red.

Samsung Galaxy A50 and Galaxy A30 will go on sale from 2 March 2019 i.e. tomorrow and the Galaxy A10 will be available from 20 March 2019 in India.

As mentioned earlier, Samsung disclosed the Galaxy A30 and Galaxy A50 in the market across the world in this week while the Galaxy A10 was revealed via a tweet a few days ago.

Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A10

The Samsung Galaxy A10 runs on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box with One UI of the Samsung on the top. The smartphone sports a 6.2-inch HD+ Infinity-V Display panel with screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone comes with an octa-core Exynos 7884 SoC.

The Galaxy A10 comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 512GB through the microSD card slot. The handset packs the capacity of 3,400mAh battery.

In terms of the optics, the Galaxy A10 at the back has a single camera with a 13MP sensor along with an f/1.9 lens. At the front, the smartphone carries a 5-megapixel camera sensor along with an f/2.0 lens for selfies and video calling. The handset comes loaded with shooting modes like Ultra-Wide, Slow-Mo, and Hyperlapse.

Specifications of the Samsung Galaxy A30

The Samsung Galaxy A30 runs on the latest Android 9 Pie out of the box along with One UI of the Samsung on the top. The Samsung Galaxy A30 sports a 6.4-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity-U Display with the screen resolution of 1080 x 2340 pixels. Under the hood, the smartphone carries an octa-core Exynos 7904 SoC.

The Samsung Galaxy A30 comes with 4GB of RAM 64GB of internal storage which can further be expanded up to 512GB via a microSD card slot. The smartphone also has a fingerprint sensor at the back. The Galaxy A30 packs the capacity of 4,000mAh battery which supports 15W fast charging through USB Type-C port.

In terms of the optics, the Galaxy A30 at the back carries dual camera setup which contains a 16MP Primary sensor with an f/1.7 lens and a 5MP secondary sensor with an f/2.2 lens. At the front, the smartphone sports a 25MP sensor along with a fixed-focus f/2.0 lens for selfies and video calling. Shooting modes like Ultra-Wide, Slow-Mo, and Hyperlapse are preloaded in the Galaxy A30.

In terms of the optics, the Galaxy A50 at the back has triple camera setup which has a 25MP sensor with an auto-focus f/1.7 lens, a 5MP sensor with a fixed-focus f/2.2 lens, and an 8MP sensor with a fixed-focus f/2.2 lens. At the front, the smartphone carries a 25MP sensor with a fixed-focus f/2.0 lens for selfies and video calling.

Shooting modes like Ultra-Wide, Slow-Mo, and Hyperlapse are also preloaded in the smartphone. The handset also has Intelligent Scene Optimiser of the Samsung which helps in adjusting the contrast, colour, and brightness after classifying the subject.
