Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo Listed on Official Website

Samsung, South- Korean multinational company has silently added the Galaxy J7 Duo at the official website of Samsung in India along with specifications which pointing towards that the company will launch the smartphone in India imminently. Previously, a user manual of Galaxy J7 Duo was spotted on Samsung official website with the model number SM-J720F, wherein the reports had disclosed several specifications of the smartphone which comprises dual camera setup on the rear panel, removable battery, front-facing LED flash and Bixby Home button.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo has been in the news from past few weeks due to leaks and rumors which appeared on the internet frequently. So far, we don’t know about the pricing and availability of smartphone and the company has not announced officially when it will unveil Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo in India. The images posted on the internet are showing 23rd April 2018 indicating the unveiling date of the smartphone. It must be noted that the J7 Duo does not list on any e-commerce platforms namely Flipkart and Amazon at the moment.

Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo specifications

Samsung Galaxy J7 Duo runs on Android OS, though the Samsung listing does not mention the version of OS, whereas the previous leak reports indicated that the smartphone will run on latest operating system i.e., Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. It bears a 5.5-inch screen Super AMOLED display with HD resolution. It is embedded with an octa-core processor which is clocked at 1.6GHz, likely to come with Exynos 7 Octa 7870 Processor. The Samsung listing does not reveal the RAM and internal storage capacity, but the previous leak reports suggested that it could come with 2GB/ 3GB of RAM and 32GB internal storage that can be further extended up to 256GB with the help of memory card.

The Samsung listing suggests that J7 Duo is equipped with a dual rear camera set up with a combination of 13-megapixel primary camera and a 5-megapixel secondary camera offering an aperture of /1.9 aperture, LED flash, and auto-focus. For the selfie snapper, the smartphone sport an 8-megapixel front-facing camera.

In terms of connectivity, the Galaxy J7 Duo is equipped with 4G VoLTE, 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, and Glonass, whereas sensors on the smartphone are a fingerprint sensor, a proximity sensor, and an accelerometer. It packs a 3000mAh battery under the hood. The weight of the smartphone is 174 grams and its dimensions are 153.5x77.2x8.2mm.
