The 2016, Mobile World Congress (MWC), which will held on February 22-25 at Barcelona (Spain), might witness the launch of the Samsung Galaxy S7 and LG G5. The two mobile companies are expected to present the next version of their respective earlier flagships, LG G4 and Samsung Galaxy S6.
Samsung Galaxy S7 is expected to be launched in several versions with varying specifications as the earlier models of Samsung Galaxy series phones. The upcoming Galaxy S7 would come up with 4K display (3,840x2,160 pixels), a brand new Quad-Core processor and a twin-sensor camera module for premium version. The standard version would incorporate a 4K display (3,840x2,160 pixels) and a Quad-Core Exynos sensor and might also have twin cameras.
LG G5 has not yet officially confirmed the name of upcoming handset but the online leaks have reported it as LG G5. The leaked information on Reddit pointed out that the new LG G5 will come up with a 5.3-inch display(2,560x1,440 pixels) and 640 ppi pixel density. The phone is expected to have Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 Processor and 3GB RAM. The two rear-facing cameras (15.9- megapixel and 8.3-megapixel) along with 8-megapixel selfie camera, give it a unique position over its competitor.
Though, LG lags behind from many contemporary mobile companies, but with its upcoming release at MWC 2016, it's expected to get a business push and land up in top five mobile manufacturers, by the end of this year.
So, all eyes are set on MWC 2016, to encounter the rivalry of two South Korean giants LG and Samsung.
