Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge has received a price slash again in India. While the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge was priced at Rs. 56,900 for the 32GB storage variant. The price of an S7 edge was dropped to Rs. 35,900,its 128GB variant is at Rs. 37,900.However, the smartphone has now received a massive price cut of Rs. 6,000. The price drop is applicable only for purchases through offline channels only and it includes a Paytm cashback worth Rs. 5,000 upon scanning a QR code at an eligible retailer.
At the time of launch, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge for 32GB storage variant was priced at Rs. 50,900 since August 2016, whereas the MRP of the Galaxy S7 Edge 128GB storage variant was priced at Rs. 56,900. Price of S7 Edge was dropped, the 32GB and 128GB variants have been available for as low as Rs. 41,900 and Rs. 43,900 online, respectively. Offline prices prior to the drop were Rs. 38,900 and Rs. 40,900, respectively. Specifically, the new price for the 32GB variant is also visible on the Samsung India online store, although the 128GB variant still cost at Rs. 43,900 on the Samsung online store.

However, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge price cut announced days before the Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9+ launch which is taking place soon at pre-MWC 2018 conference event in Spain, Barcelona. The Galaxy S7 Edge was launched at MWC 2016.
Introduced with Android 6.0 Marshmallow on the first time, the Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge presently runs Android Nougat and it features a 5.5-inch QHD Super AMOLED display with a screen resolution of 1440 x 2560 pixels.
It is powered by an octa-core Exynos 8890 SoC and coupled with 4GB of RAM. For the camera optics, it comes with 12-megapixel \'Dual Pixel\' rear camera sensor with a f/1.7 aperture and smart OIS feature as well as a 5-megapixel front camera sensor with f/1.7 aperture. Both variants of the Galaxy S7 Edge have storage expansion up to 200 TB via microSD card. Besides, the smartphone packs a 3600mAh battery.This phone is 7.7 mm slim and weighs 157 grams.
