Samsung, the South- Korean giant is expected to launch the new smartphone with the name tag Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite on 21st May in China, and it might be the modified version of last year launched Samsung Galaxy S8. The high-quality images of the rumored Galaxy S8 Lite have started appearing on the internet which suggests the design, specifications, and colors of the upcoming Galaxy smartphone.
Previously, Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite was spotted on both FCC and TENAA certification listings with the model number SM-G8750 along with some key specifications. So far, the company has not officially announced the name of the upcoming Galaxy smartphone, but the various specifications and details of S8 Lite have already appeared on the internet from the past few months.
The images of the unnamed Samsung smartphone has been recently spotted on China social networking website, Weibo. The images have revealed that the upcoming Galaxy smartphone will be available in Burgundy, Black, and Red Color options. The teaser images shows that the Galaxy S8 Lite looks similar to last year launched Samsung Galaxy S8.
According to TENAA and FCC Listings, it is anticipated that Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite will feature a 5.8-inch Super AMOLED display with the screen resolution of 1080x2220 pixels or 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone is likely to come with Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, paired with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage. The S8 Lite is expected to run on Android 8.0 Oreo Operating System.

In terms of optics, the rumored Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite is likely to feature a single 16MP rear camera and 8MP front-facing camera. The images recently appeared on Weibo suggest that the fingerprint scanner is positioned on the right-hand side of the rear camera.
Connectivity options on the Galaxy S8 will include 4G VoLTE, Bluetooth, and USB. The smartphone will be equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, fingerprint sensor, iris scanner, and proximity sensor. It will be powered by a 3,000mAh battery along with USB-C port for fast charging.
It is speculated that the Samsung Galaxy S8 lite will be available at an affordable mid-range smartphone along with decent specifications.
Alongside Samsung Galaxy S8 Lite, the South Korean company is also working upon to unveil Samsung Galaxy Note 9 most probably in August , as the specifications leaked ahead of the official launch.
