Samsung has come with a smartphone Galaxy Star Advance to beat the market of budget handsets with amazing features. It is said that the phone is priced at Rs. 7,299. A mobile retailer Mahesh Telecom has unveiled some specification detail of the handset. It is another KitKat handset in the foray of budget smartphones which has taken birth. However, Company has not spoken a word on the launching of device.
As per the listed specification, Galaxy Star Advance sports 4.3-inch WVGA TFT display which produces screen resolution of 480x800 pixels. The 1.2GHz dual-core processor gives fast performance to device at 1.2GH clock speed. Although, the 512MB of RAM disappoints you with okay user experience. On the imaging section, it has 3-megapixel camera with LED flash to capture best moments of your life. There is now word on the front camera.
Galaxy Star Advance is fueled by 1800mAh battery which is rated to deliver long time of battery backup. It is crafted with 4GB of inbuilt storage and microSD card slot which has the capability to store upto 32GB of data. It is expected that smartphone will get company’s own TouchWiz UI which works along with Android KitKat OS to give best user experience.
It will support 3G network and comes loaded with ChatOn, video recording, Google Talk, Google Maps, Samsung Apps and FM radio recorder. It seems like Samsung is trying to stand in the budget market. But time will decide what impact of this releasing will be on Samsung while Xiaomi already stands in the line as a biggest rival of the Korean Mobile Maker.
