Barcelona will be welcoming the Mobile World Congress 2014 in the coming days which shows that it is time for introducing number of new gadgets like mobiles, tablets and other wearable tech gadgets. One of the revealing revolutions will be Samsung's Galaxy Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo, the second generation smart watches. These watches are second version of Samsung Galaxy Gear.

There are only some changes we can see about Gear 2 and Gear Neo 2. These are slightly slimmer and lighter than the first one but the amplitudes are same. Similar to Gear first, Gear 2 also comes up with camera. But this time it is not over the belt, rather it is on the watch. There is not a big difference between Gear 2 and Gear 2 Neo. But Gear 2 Neo doesn’t have camera.

Lot of apps are supported by these two watches like CNN, Evernote, Feedly, PayPal, and Runtastic. Some other features like heart rate monitors and music are also included. The previous version of Gear was used to work only with Samsung Galaxy cell phones but the new version supports a number of models.

There is a big change in both the versions of Gear. The new Gears are running on Samsung’s newly launched OS “Tizen”, but the previous Gear was on Google’s Android OS. Now company claims battery life of 2-3 days instead of only a single day for the last launch.

From last half of the decade, Samsung was following Android as its OS. But recently in its 2 new products, Samsung has launched its new OS named Tizen. This shows that this Korean company now wants to convert Android according to its personal preferences.

New Operating System for the upcoming watches will not be an effective decision for Samsung instead it would be installed for new upcoming smart phones. In the market of smart phones where all the producers are using Android as their OS, Samsung will be the only one which desires of launching its own OS. And if the company takes a deep attempt towards its new OS, it will be in favor of Tizen.

The new Galaxy Gear watches will be available in global markets by April. Samsung hasn't decided about their cost yet. It may be very exciting to see the Galaxy Gears with new OS.
