Samsung Launched Galaxy Tab Iris Under Make In India Initiative

Samsung on Wednesday dispatched its Make in India tablet in the nation, the Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris, estimated at Rs. 13,499. The highlight of the tablet, which is focused at government and corporate representatives, is its biometric verification highlight - it bears an iris scanner that is Aadhar, STQC, and UIDAI affirmed. No accurate discharge date has been given yet.

Dispatched under the support of the Digital India initiative, the Android Lollipop-based Samsung Galaxy Tab Iris is a 3G-empowered single SIM tablet, and sports a 7-inch WSVGA (1024x600 pixels) display. It is controlled by a 1.2GHz quad-center SoC, combined with 1.5GB of LPDDR3 RAM.

The Galaxy Tab Iris bears a 5-megapixel back self-adjust camera and accompanies 8GB of inbuilt stockpiling that is expandable by means of microSD card (up to 200GB).
