Sharp, a Japanese based multinational company has recently launched Android One smartphone with the name tag Sharp S3. The company has listed the newly launched smartphone on its Japan website which is priced at JPY 32,400 (approximately Rs. 19,000). The Sharp S3 is available in four color options: Turquoise, Navy Black, White, and Pink. One of the highlighting features nowadays is fingerprint sensor which is not available in the Sharp S3.
The Sharp S3 sports a 5-inch full-HD IGZO display along with resolution of 1920x1080 pixels. It is powered by a Qualcomm octa-core Snapdragon 430 SoC matted with 3GB RAM and has a 32GB internal storage capacity that can be further extended up to 256GB via microSD card. The Sharp S3 supports Android 8.0 Oreo out-of-the-box. In terms of optics, the smartphone has a 13.1-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front facing the camera for taking selfies and video calling.

Sharp S3 comes with 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS, USB Type-C port, a 3.5mm headphone jack. The company claims that the smartphone provides a talk time of 22 hours on the 4G network as well as standby time of 605 hours.
The smartphone is backed by a 2700mAh battery. The company said that Sharp S3 will take around 155 minutes for full charge. The smartphone is said to feature an IPX5, IPX8, and IP6 X certification which helps to protect the smartphone from water, dust and shock resistance. The weight of the smartphone is 143 grams and its dimensions are 71x144x8.5mm.
