Sony Launches Xperia XZs In India With 19-MP Motion Eye Back Camera And 13-MP Selfie camera

The leading Japanese smartphone maker Sony has launched Sony Xperia XZs mobile in India, at an official event scheduled in New Delhi. This latest mobile in India comes with a price tag of Rs. 49,990 and will be made available from 11th April.

It must be noted that the company had unveiled this latest mobile at MWC 2017 along with Xperia XZ Premium, Xperia XA1, and Xperia XA1 Ultra smartphones. The Sony Xperia XZs smartphone was launched in Ice Blue, Warm Silver and Black colors. The main highlighting feature of the Sony Xperia XZs is it's 19-MP Motion Eye camera - with super slow motion video recording feature, and the Snapdragon 820 processor. The handset is the smaller variant of the Xperia XZ smartphone, and it comes with a 5.2-inch full-HD (1080x1920 pixels) Triluminos display.

The Sony Xperia XZs is a single SIM supporting device that operates on the latest Android 7.0 Nougat. It is being claimed that the Sony may soon launch the dual-SIM variant in India - similar to the previously launched mobiles in the country. As stated above the phone has been powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor along with Adreno 510 GPU and 4GB RAM. The handset has been launched in two memory variants of 32GB and 64GB of inbuilt storage options, expandable further via microSD slot (up to 256GB).

On the camera front, the Sony Xperia XZs has a 19-megapixel Motion Eye camera with a 1/ 2.3-inch Exmor RS memory stacked sensor with predictive hybrid autofocus - all of which help to capture 960fps super slow motion videos. On the front, it comes with the 13-megapixel shooter with a 22mm wide-angle lens and a f/2.0 aperture. This latest Sony mobile in India has been incorporated with a 2900mAh battery and has connectivity options like - Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.2, GPS + GLONASS, NFC, and USB Type-C (USB 3.1) port. The top smartphone sensors in the handset are the accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, magnetometer, and proximity sensor.
