Sony Xperia XA Dual With Additional Offers Released in India

Quite recently, Sony India at its launch event unveiled its X-series in India as well as launched Xperia X Dual for nearly INR 48,990 and just a day before disclosed its plan to launch Xperia XA Dual in India.

As per the latest reports, the company has kept its promise since it promised its users to launch the product in the third week of June and now it has done it and has priced the product for INR 20,990. The company has made its Android smartphone available for purchase only through Amazon India as well as has allowed users to purchase the same via official retail stores and the company website.

One must recall that the company unveiled three products at MWC 2016 out of which Xperia X Dual (Review) has already been launched for INR 48,990 and is available from June 7 itself, and now even Xperia XA Dual is out. The last of the three products Sony Xperia X Performance Dual however is still under discussion.

The company has taken utmost care to grab audience's attention by adding a bundle of offers along with the launching of product. The gross value of all the free products coming via offers amounts to nearly Rs 2,700 and includes a three-month subscription to Sony Liv, a three-month subscription to Hungama Play, and Kindle ebooks worth Rs. 1,000. Not just this, the Xperia X Dual would also come packed with Gameloft games alongside free credits having worth of nearly Rs 780.

In terms of specifications, the Dual-SIM smartphone is powered by a Mobile Bravia Engine 2 and operates on latest Android OS i.e., Marshmallow OS v6.0 having a layer of company's default UI on the top. The GSM-handset sports a 5-inch HD display giving a resolution of 720xz1280 pixels. The device additionally is powered by a MediaTek MT6755 Soc coupled with a 2GB of RAM and offers 16GB of memory storage capacity with expansion support of up to 200GB using an external microSD card.

On the photography front, the device comes with 13-megapixel camera on the rear end while sports an 8-megapixel camera on the front end. The company has provided its rear camera with some additional features like Exmor RS for mobile sensor, hybrid autofocus and LED flash. Dimensionally, the product measures 143.6x66.8x7.9mm and carries a weight of 138grams.
